With the ability to talk to all five major satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and Bidou) at the same time, the Vertix 2 GPS will be the perfect partner for any adventure. The Vertix 2 GPS Adventure Watch offers Dual Frequency satellite communication that was previously only available in aviation products to provide you with an express lane for a faster, better signal. This updated smartwatch brings huge improvements to GPS plotting even when navigating between tall buildings, deep within the forest, or alongside rock walls, which have been considered an accuracy challenge for previous generations of GPS watches.
The Vertix 2 GPS Adventure Watch provides global offline mapping with Landscape, Topo and Hybrid modes included. The full global Landscape map is readily available straight out of the box and your Topo map can be downloaded by regions for free at COROS.com. The watch allows you to zoom in and out of the map with the digital dial and features a highly responsive touch screen ideal for moving the map around. This ensures that you get the best experience for on-wrist navigation. Featuring Vertix 2 ECG (Electrocardiogram) capabilities, you can use the GPS Watch to measure your Heart Rate Variability (HRV) from your wrist. Each individualised HRV is converted into an easily comparable metric ideal for measuring your body's response to stress and its ability to recover.
Utilising Coros' next-generation chipset and processor, the Vertix 2 allows for a better experience that is 20% faster than the original Vertix. The 1.4-inch screen features a 16% higher resolution presents more information at a glance so that you can keep updated with key metrics wherever your adventure takes you. This Coros Watch can support up to eight different data fields on any single page so that you can view more of the information that you need throughout your activities. The Vertix 2 boasts the longest battery life you've ever seen in a GPS watch, with 140 hours of standard full GPS tracking and 60 days of normal use. Its upgraded battery life more than doubles the life of its predecessor so that it is ready for even your longest and toughest adventures.
With 32 GB of onboard storage, the Vertix 2 is able to hold more data, more workouts and more routes with the addition of music. The updated watch now allows you to download and control your music from your wrist and Wi-Fi capabilities mean that you have even greater possibilities for accessory pairing and more. The GPS watch also allows you to control your Insta360 action camera (Insta 360 Go 2, One X2 and One R) so that you can place your camera out of reach to get the shots you desire. The Vertix 2 is also compatible with a Coros Watch Carabiner that locks into the frame of the watch and clips onto your harness or other gear to make viewing your data easier when on climbing adventures.
